I have recently moved to Dumfries and Galloway and am keen to find other musicians to play with in the area. Until moving, I was in a 4-piece Americana/country rock band and am looking for musicians locally who play americana/acoustic/country/blues influenced music to play with. I'm Happy to either join an existing band or to get together a bunch of musicians to create a new band. My love is Americana and non-cheesy country music and would love to find a pedal steel player for authentic twang as well as bass, lead guitar, and drums, plus maybe banjo/mandolin/other. I'd like to connect with others who want to commit to regular rehearsals and occasional gigs, but mainly people who want to enjoy playing and sharing the music that we love.
