SEEKING
Bass Guitar, Keyboard.ABOUT
Mid 30's Male lead guitar player, been playing since 1990. Experience in playing in Hard Rock/Metal and Indie cover bands - mainly pub gigs but also some small local festivals. I have my own equipment and transport.
Family committments mean I can practice and gig once a week but as much as I'd love to, I couldn't do any more than once weekly.
Last band split up due to work comittments from the Bass Player and Singer but we'd been together for about 4 years and played some well received gigs. Previous band had been together from 1999 to 2007.

Influences
A mix of Alternative Rock/Metal and 70s/80's Classic Rock and Hair Metal;
Typical Alt. Rock bands: Faith No More, Alice in Chains, Incubus, Hoobastank, Deftones, Funeral for a Friend, Mr Bungle, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Rage Against the Machine...
Typical Classic Rock & Hair Metal: Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Poison, Warrant, Skid Row, Led Zep, GnR, ZZ Top, Ugly Kid Joe, Kiss, AC/DC, Def Leppard.
I also like some indie and post punk music too, particularly The Jam, The Cure, Johnny Marr, Suede, The Stone Roses, The Smiths, Blur, Oasis, Supergrass... Its not quite as exciting from a suit point of view but the crowds love that stuff too!
My style is quite 80's inspired and is a blend of Scotti Hill (Skid Row), Klaus Eichstadt (Ugly Kid Joe) and Eddie Van Halen - although they're all better than me!
