My name is Oliver Hanney, I am a solo acoustic alternative blues performer/electronic music producer based in central Norwich seeking to flesh out my original material + covers with a solid alternative rock backing band. I am ideally looking to recruit a guitarist, bass and drummer. I am also open to joining any existing bands looking to recruit a dynamic alternative rock front man.
I have a raw DIY approach influenced by independent music pioneers such as Jack White. I have experience of playing the main stage at The Harlequin Fayre as well as the Maui Waui Festival! My influences are Bob Dylan, Arctic Monkeys and The Pixies. I have released my own music through bandcamp (https://pleasantsavages.bandcamp/album/pleasantly-savage) , and makes my own music videos using traditional rotoscoping technique and manipulation of found material (https://www.youtube/channel/UCPgslpWnFdr4nUwNsLOvbmw).
