ABOUT

Hi, my name's Ollie, I'm from London and I am predominately a writer. I write a lot of things, covering a wide variety of subjects; and one of the first things I would write were songs at school, where I also began playing the drums. I've kept my writing up as my music taste has changed and evolved, and recently I made what I considered a breakthrough which has propelled my songs to heights I now consider worthy of recording, or at least considering trying to create. They tend to be a bit of a mix between rock, folk and blues, but I genuinely feel I have something here so I want to put together a band so that I can play these. They are cynical, world-weary songs based on the styles of artists from the 60's-70's era like The Beatles, Stones, Dylan and Clapton, but with modern connotations too. I can play acoustic guitar, but only chords, so I need a lead guitar, drums (cause I don't play anymore) and probably a bassist too.
