I am new to living in London and have previously been in 2 bands as lead singer/frontman enjoying a successful time writing, recording and gigging music and also been lucky enough to work with the management and staff who have worked with the likes of Stereophonics, Radiohead and Supergrass to name a few.
I have not done anything much musically for a year or 2 now and I'm itching to get involved in the music scene again as it is my passion and I miss it badly!
My previous band were succesful in a few battle of the band contests where we got to the final in one and crowned winners for pub chain the walkabout for the south of England in another which was great!
I enjoy coming up with tunes, melodies and lyrics to songs and have quite a lot of songs and ideas for songs but amequally happy to write music and contribute ideas as a band.
I am 30 years old and have only been involved in being in a band since I was about 23. I remember the 1st gig we did was in a battle of the bands and even though the other lads in the band were all mates of mine it was new to them seeing me perform as a frontman/lead singer as well as me to gig in front of them and the public but it went down a storm and they were pleasantly surprised. We created a buzz around the town of Swindon where Im originally from also enjoying gigs in Camden towns Dublin Castle and Putney's Half moon pub.
People and aquaintances who have seen me perform have over the last couple of years have questioned why I havent done anything for a while as they have complimented me on my talent in singing and having a really good stage presence which is great to hear from people (without sounding big headed!). I guess I have not wanted to jump straight back into something I didnt feel right but feel now the time is right to do something! I feel thats where I belong and look forward to hearing from like minded enthusiastic, committed and ambitious musicians to pursue something they have always wanted to do for fun but at the same time with a goal to achieve musical ambitions.
