Paolo started playing the electric bass inspired by the music of James Brown, Chic and Earth Wind & Fire, joining a little later the Conservatory of Florence "Luigi Cherubini" where he had a formal training studying classical double bass, theory and composition for 5 years.
He then graduated with Honour in Rome and got a diploma in jazz electric bass and double bass attending the "Corsi Di Perfezionamento Musicale" in Siena.
Paolo has recorded about 20 CDs covering many styles ranging from rock to jazz and has played in TV shows for national tv Rai 2, Mediaset Italia Uno and Videomusic.
In the UK he has collaborated with producer Elliot Davis (Garbage, Wet Wet Wet, Primal Scream)
