We are Patchwork Story.
We write our songs as a collective with Linzy or Chloe coming up with melody lines or lyrics and Donna putting guitar or keys to it and sometimes the other way round.
We have been fusing folk, pop, blues, country and soul to create a variety of different songs. In 2018 we want to put Patchwork Story into a band focussing mainly on a blues, rock and soul vibe.
Donna is an exceptional drummer and so she will be taking to the kit so we are searching for a guitarist, bassist and keys player to add to the line up.
We would like to take some of our existing songs and put them into a band sound and we will be continuing to write more material. It is not a necessity if you've not written before but it is an added bonus so that we can continue the collective way of working.
Our aim is to take this originals band to different live music venues and support touring bands. We already have some fantastic contacts and so want to get cracking.
This is a fun, creative project with limited pay but hopefully we could gain a fan base and release our music and make money through merch etc.
