Q: What has 6 legs, 30 fingers and misplaced optimism?
A: A piano trio looking for gigs*

Anyway...on to the more important question facing all serious musicians: is anyone up for a trio?
My dream line-up as a keyboard player (piano/Rhodes and a bit of Hammond or even synth) is keys, bass, and A N Other. (Horn? singer?). If we skipped drums, at least for now., it would also make rehearsing easier.
My dream location is near to Stroud - could possibly rehearse at my place in Nailsworth to avoid sitting in Pirate Studios shouting at the CCTV for help with a technical problem. Can even record here, providing the 'A N Other' has a decent mic.
Open to genre. I'd rather not be churning out nothing but jazz standards. No objection to *some* of those, or rock/pop, and I like both originals and well-done covers (not least because having some covers make booking gigs easier). The goal would be getting occasional fun gigs at smaller venues, just for fun.
I've been playing this kind of stuff for about 15 years, and have the kit needed.
