I am a 51 year-old songwriter/singer/guitarist seeking a bass guitarist with decent harmony/backing vocals to form a new 3-piece band, “Please Wait…”

I have a temporary drummer in place to help out with auditions and possibly the first few gigs, but would be looking to find a permanent percussionist (who can also provide a third-part harmony) in due course.

I’ve put together recordings of 6 original songs which can be found at: https://soundcloud/paul-storrie - I’m no sound engineer and there seemed little point in going to town on the production of these tracks given the intention to form a band to play/record the set, so these are only rough drafts to give you an idea of the numbers – if need be, a setlist could always be padded-out at outset with a few covers.

I have a half-share in a small studio near Gallows Corner, Romford which we can use on an ongoing basis for rehearsals/recording and a PA/monitoring system for gigs.

I’m looking to gig at least once a week with an emphasis on “spreading the word” rather than making money – i.e. the majority of gigs may not be paid.
