I'm a 51 year old guitarist with gigging experience although I've been out of the scene for about 5 years but looking to get back into it again once restrictions ease.
I've been in bands such as Obsidian, Resplendence (I actually set that band up) & Fused where over the years I've been fortunate enough to play on The Thekla & at the Bristol Harbour Festival.
I would class myself mainly as a rhythm guitarist but have played the odd solo on songs over the years.
My interests are wide & varied but I'm looking for like minded musicians & of a similar age group or preferably older.
I play a Fender Mustang through a Marshall Origin amp & use just a few effects (overdrive, chorus & reverb).
I'm quite keen on something like a tribute act (Blondie or Roxy Music would be great) rather than a load of different covers by different bands, although I'm not ruling that out either so anything from 1971-1982 would be good also.
I am lacking in a bit confidence atm due to not having been in a band for so long but I am a dedicated musician who given some patience & a little bit of time, will work hard at learning the material required.
I look forward to hopefully hearing back from you soon.
Best wishes Paul.
