Very experienced bass player who has played in gigging bands around the West Country and Pembrokeshire.
The first band I played bass with in Pembs was Broken--Lines who are now really making a name for themselves. We did quite a few punk/space rock gigs and recorded an EP that I still enjoy listening to now (it's on this page, so listen for yourself!)
I then joined a really interesting folk/rock band, Rookery Lane, https://www.bandmix.co.uk/rookerylane/ and I really enjoyed making music, recording and gigging with them
Before lockdown I had been gigging with The Hangmen in Ceredigion which was mainly seasonal and mainly Blues/rock covers. Really great guys but they were living outside the area, so we only got together when they were staying in the area.
I then played with two members of that band, who now live permanently in the area, with a different drummer. They’re called The Deep Blue Band and played mainly covers but with a distinct 'groove' to the sound.
We gigged consistently in North Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion and made a name for ourselves as a great band to get the room up and dancing!
Due to new work commitments, I couldn’t continue playing in Ceredigion, so now looking for something closer to home in Pembrokeshire. I’m in no rush, as I want to find something that inspires me.
