Experienced or semi-experienced drummer needed to complete a new ‘Blues Rock Power Trio’ combo based in the Birmingham/Wolverhampton areas. Our current line up consists of vocals/Bass and vocals/guitar. We got off to a false start earlier this year, but we’ve been practicing more regular since, and now we’ve decided to take it up a level by recruiting additional members. Looking to do some gigs early in the new year.
Ideally, we’re looking for a drummer with good improvisational skills, and more importantly have a sense of humour, as we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we’re easy going!
If you’re interested then you must have your own transport, be reliable, own equipment, able to practice once a week, available to play a couple of gigs a month and at the weekends (potentially with some travel involved if it pays well). We’re both aged 40-50 but were open to all ages coming forward for audition.
Auditions will likely take place early October. If your interested contact myself (Pete) and we will look at arranging a try out. We have access to a studio in central Birmingham but we can look at arranging somewhere elsewhere if required.
