My name is Peter, and I'm a bassist. My primary focus is the fretless bass, which I've been playing for over a decade now in jazz, rock, and ska bands. I play numerous other stringed instruments, but the bass guitar is my true passion.
I'm a capable pocket player, and while I'm capable of playing show-off lines, I prefer to let my bass work do what's best for the song instead of showing off for the sake of showing off.

Influences
As a fretless bass player it's impossible to escape the influence of Jaco Pastorius, both on technique and on tone. I prefer a bit of a mellower sound though. Anthony Wellington's teaching, technique and work ethic have been a more recent influence on my style: his drive to be the best possible musician has helped me immensely.
