I have recently finished playing with a band from Thame Oxfordshire after 21/2yrs mainly due to other commitments and travel time. We played mainly covers such as Paul Weller, Oasis, Charlatans, The Jam, The Who and The Beatles. Looking to join another band, can practise 1x pw and interested in gigging anywhere and anytime! just love playing.
Open minded, not a musical snob, like to make people dance.

Influences
James Jamerson(Motown),Tommy Cogbill, Jerry Jemmott,Duck Dunn are all Bass players i like. Music: grew up listening to Soul, RnB, Ska, Reggae but listen to a very wide selection, Jazz, salsa, country, pop, rock,samba, rap the list goes on, love some of the stuff out now.Listen to Radio 6 Not into modern RnB, don't slap or perform bass pyrotechnics, like to lock into a groove and play fairly simply.
EQUIPMENT
Cheapo Sqiure P-Bass special with flatwound strings and Fender 60watt amp.warm sounding and powerful. Have effects pedal but won't bother unless it fits with the song, ie synth pop.
