I've been in an originals band for the last 10 years which came to an end in July 2010. I'm now looking to get a new project going. I have lots of studio and live experience as lead guitarist/singer as well as a home studio setup for recording.
I'm looking for a bass player, drummer and 2nd guitarist (to share lead and rhythm). A keyboard player would be great but not a showstopper! If you can also sing (backing vocals/occassional lead) that would be a real bonus.
I'm into all sorts of music but the real route I fancy is wirting and performing original music influenced by:
-Bruce Springsteen
-Tom Petty
-Black Crowes
-Jesse Malin
An English take on anthemic american I guess would be a good way of describing it! The band would definetely be a democracy!
I have lots of contacts nationwide for gigs and management opportunities so it would definetely be a worthwhile project!
