Talented sax & keyboard player looking to join or form a band in London. My tastes are wide and varied, and I'm up for having a go at most styles, except trad rock & metal really. Ideally I'd like to play soulful, funky flavas, originals or a mixture of originals and covers.
I've been playing for almost 20 years but had a bit of a gap in my 20s, and have only just rekindled my interest in playing in bands again. I'm committed, I don't miss practices, work hard but aim to have fun when playing - that's the point isn't it?
I play very well by ear and I pick up chords, melody and harmony very quickly, but I'm also well trained in theory (I know what the dots mean!), and I love composing and arranging with a group. I also produce soulful house music, and my production and arrangement skills will probably come in handy for any band.
