I'm an experienced guitar player, both live and studio work, looking to join a function or tribute band. I can play many different styles and have wide musical tastes. I pride myself on being able to play what its required for the song and recreating the requisite sounds to go with it.

Influences
All the usual stuff (Beatles, etc), but my biggest influences are; Sting (with The Police and solo), Crowded House, anything with Johnny Marr, or Mark Knopfler, Level 42, Tears for Fears, U2, Simple Minds, Coldplay, Pink Floyd, Marillion and too many others to mention.

EQUIPMENT
I mainly play Strats, and Tele's, but I also have a selection of other styles of guitar (depending on the needs of the band/song). I have a selection of different pedalboards and am comfortable playing either with backline or ampless, as seems to be the demand for a lot of venues these days, and my setups are designed to work straight for FOH or in a traditional way into an amp. I tend to use Fender style amps.
