SEEKING
Bass Guitar.ABOUT
Serious, established and touring London based pop-rock band, looking for a new bass player. We play upbeat, melodic but energetic music, so we’re looking for a bassist with good technical ability, who can be diverse in styles – from pop, rock, funk, indie, etc.
We are looking for someone:
- Aged 23-35
- Technically versatile and dynamic, open to ideas
- Good image and stage presence
- Able to sing backing vocals
- Dedicated, reliable and committed (take the band seriously)
- Friendly and up for a pint and a laugh (not take himself too seriously)
Basically, we are looking for someone who can come up with his own bass lines, be imaginative (rather than just necessarily follow what guitar does) and creative, and add his own sound and groove to a song. We are also willing to experiment with different styles of bass lines... That would really be up to the bassist. However, the bass lines in our songs have previously been influenced by the likes of RHCP, Bernard Edwards, Muse, Stanley Clarke, John Taylor, Jamiroquai, etc (just to give you a rough idea).
High quality gigs across London, a possible UK tour, radio and TV appearances, and a studio recording session (this autumn) are already planned.
If you’re interested or require more info (links to our music etc), please get in touch, and more importantly PLEASE send us a link to your music, etc!
Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers!
If interested, please send a message or contact us at events(at)exer(dot)co(dot)uk

P.S. If you have myspace/mp3/recordings etc, please send those also.
