Keyboard player and bassist looking to form a Tears for Fears tribute band, with the aim of playing top music venues and tribute festivals in the UK. We are seeking experienced, professionally-minded musicians to complete the line-up:
Male lead vocalist (ideally with guitar ability)
Drummer (ability to play to a click and/or incorporate electronics essential)
Guitarist (backing vocal ability desirable)
Female vocalist (to do lead vocals on certain songs and contribute backing vocals throughout)
We are not aiming to be Roland & Curt lookalikes, instead our intention is to sound as authentic as possible. With this in mind, applicants should be versatile (and able to play the diverse range of styles within the TFF catalogue) and have an attention to detail. Technical brilliance is not necessary, but enthusiasm and the right feel for the music is.
We are experienced players that are easy to get on with, like-wise we would expect the same from potential applicants and would ask that egos are left at the door. Ability to laugh is also a prerequisite!
Bearing in mind that no other TFF tributes exist in the UK and the amount of hits the band have had we believe that this project has the potential to succeed. We have no desire to be a pub/hobby band and intend to aim high.
