The band was formed initially in the summer of 2014 when two of us (Simon and Paul) got back together following the break up of our previous synth pop band. After several months of writing, rehearsing and a little recording we began the search for new band members to expand our line up and bassist Ian joined us in late 2015. Percussion-wise Matt played drums for us for 2 years and Joe for the past year but we now find ourselves seeking a replacement. We endeavour to create catchy, vocally strong and instrumentally melodic songs, generating a modern/classic pop/rock sound with a good dollop of energy but still slipping into laid back mode when it feels right to keep a good balance of variation. We also like to throw in a couple of carefully selected covers here and there.

The band is a 100% ego-free zone and, although we're serious about making decent music, we also want to enjoy doing it and have a good laugh along the way. We're not looking for world domination, although we do take over a little bit of Wolverhampton once a week when we get together for rehearsals.

Influences

One or two genres involved but essentially a mix of predominantly rock, a lump or two of pop and a sprinkling of synth. Mainstream artists such as Genesis, Muse, Crowded House, It Bites, Talk Talk, David Bowie, XTC etc. are responsible for inspiring key elements of our songs.
