Actively seeking an experienced keyboard player (vocals added bonus) as well as a lead guitarist (vocals added bonus), within Leeds area, who are interested in creating soul/blues/funk/pop/rock type of music. Only interested in musicians who are committed, driven and passionate who want to create new original fresh music.

Rachael Hannah McCaul is a 26 year old singer/song writer who has lots of experience within the music industry, playing all across the UK and looking to work with hard-working and passionate musicians. She has more recently re-branded herself as Red Rae.

As a solo artist she has self-released an EP called 'Gone In A Blink', multiple tracks of which have been played on BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire, as well as having experience of gigging across the UK with her music.

Rachael has also been in two bands, more recently her band Rare Element, gained lots of credibility/popularity and played at established venues including 360 Club Leeds, Hi-fi club and festivals including Tramlines.

Influences

My influences span across a range of artists from Old R'n'B, Soul and Blues such as Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin to more contemporary artists like Lianne La Havas, KT Tunstall and Plan B amongst many many others. I generally can sing to many tunes and forget who actually sings them! I love artists that are able to capture their emotions and stories within a song.
