Played acoustic and electric guitar for many years, blues based and played lots of Rock n Roll, Funk, and lots of Jimi Hendrix, Dire Straits Janis Joplin, Little Feat and all similar 60s and 70s stuff.
Played 6 string banjo for 8 years now, harmonica for 9 and Irish whistle for a few years. More recently got into African music, especially desert blues and Afrobeat.
Also have a growing interest in Indian classical and middle eastern music systems.
Studied Indian classical dhrupad singing in India for 4 months.
Played in The Spinning Blowfish for 12 years, celtic fusion band with drums, bagpipes and guitar.
Extensive street music experience.
Since 2018 been running my own solo project RamTajam, released my debut solo album " Every wall must fall" im 2021, entirely self produced.
Recorded an EP, a studio album and a live album with The Spinning Blowfish.
Currently looking for a piper to continue the band, as well as more collaborators for solo projects and a trumpet or sax for FaVaBeats, my latest project, focusing on acoustic groove music from Africa, the East and Latin America.
