I'm looking to become a vocalist or backing vocalist in my first band. I have a few years cabaret experience with a holiday company both onstage and techincally. I have a smooth tone to my voice and am willing to give anything a go. I am also taking vocal lessons to improve technique and stamina.
Most of all I really love to sing and although I may not be a Mariah or a Whitney I have my own unique style and love performing.

I like all sorts of different music from folk to alternative metal but my main singing influences and folk, country, lounge and a bit of american and british songbook stuff. Sarah McLachlan, Peggy Lee, Dolly Parton, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Norah Jones, Kate Rusby, Lisa Loeb, Frank Sinatra, Dixie Chicks, Indigo Girls, Reba McEntire and plenty more.
EQUIPMENT
I'm afraid I only have my voice but I have a basic knowledge of setting up, soundchecking and running PAs.
