What's to describe... I started off as a classical guitarist and decided I wanted to play metal. Instead of carrying on guitar I moved to bass, seeing as I never learned to use picks and any attempts to do so ended in embarrassment and most of the time very sloppy playing...

Influences
Because of my days as a classical guitarist I've got a lot of influence from that sort of area, although metal is my main genre. Any sort of metal. From the cheesy hair metal to the death, from power metal to progressive. I love it all. I don't know many of these modern 'hardcore' or 'metalcore' bands but I do like playing that style too!
I like some acoustic rock too, and I've been known to rip off a lot of ballads just because I love them.
Just think of the word 'Epic'... If it can be called Epic then it influences my playing in some way.
EQUIPMENT
Right now I'm playing a Harley Benton 6-string bass going through a zoom 507 effects box and a torque amp. I've also got a collection of acoustics, including an Ibanez 12-string guitar and an Ozark nylon-string acoustic bass.
