I am a 25 year old Singer/Songwriter based in the Cambridge area. I have been playing live venues for the past 7 years but since I finished at University I haven't managed to get a whole lot of live playing done apart from the odd Open Mic session down the local. Influences
Where to start...My Mum loves Motown and I guess that's a big influence of mine - My Dad used to cram Genesis and Pink Floyd down my throat, but I can see why now; as my musical taste matured so did my appreciation of 60's, 70's and 80's Rock, including the Rolling Stones and Dire Straits.
More modern influences I'd say were Coldplay, Kasabian, The Kooks, KT Tunstall, Razorlight and Newton Faulkner, although this last year I haven't listened to anything other than singer/songwriters like Frank Turner, Ed Sheeran which turned me on to Folk music like Mumford and Sons
