Versatile and adaptable 50 year old bass player, over 35 years gigging and recording experience, seeks band or others for entertainment, regular rehearsals, gigs etc. Interested in all kinds of music, but would like to play something funky, groove-laden, quirky, original and a little out of the ordinary. No dull rock, no predictable covers and definitely no metal. Very happy with acid jazz, anything spacey, psychedelic, folky, funky, jazzy, poppy, proggy (or downright uncategoriseable) for enjoyment and gigs in a relaxed yet purposeful (and ego-free?) environment.

Electric double bass, 4 and 5 string bass guitars, Marshall bass amp, Boss chorus, Boss compressor. Good work ethic, general 'dad skills' (sense of perspective and zen-like calm attitude in the face of all problems) and reliable own transport.
