Biography
Rick Hampton has been ever present on the music scene for well over 40 years playing numerous bands covering a wide musical spectrum.
From the disco/funk style of the 1970s with THE 7 TEEZ show, through to the intricate bass lines of TOTO as a member of JOURNEY 2 TOTO (Tribute), and a nationwide tour with one of the UK's most popular Country Music acts, ARIZONA STORM, Rick can call upon a wealth of experience and differing styles and techniques.
Rick is constantly performing whether it is in a local pub or a large festival and is able to balance a healthy gig diary with his own private music school.
Rick's CV includes THE DARKSIDE (A Pink Floyd Tribute Band), JOURNEY 2 TOTO (Tribute), DEVOTED TO ROCK (Rock covers).
Rick is currently the bass player with renowned festival band FIRED UP and ROCK THE 80s.
Rick also runs BASS & GUITAR LESSONS, his own private business that specializes in teaching guitar, bass and drums.

Paul McCartney, Phil Lynott, Mike Porcarro, Mike Rutherford and John Entwistle for the bass playing. The Beatles, Toto, Chicago, Jackson Brown, Bob Seger, Mary Chapin Carpenter, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John (this list could go on) for musical inspiration.
The Little River Band from Australia are my favourite band and my all-time favourite artist is Cliff Richard.
