I'm a guitarist who has played and gigged in various covers and function bands for over 20 years. I decided to take a break from gigging at the end of 2018 but now seeking something new.. Looking to either join an established band, even as a second guitarist or would be interested getting together with local musicians with the intention of starting up a new band. Anything considered really.... I've mainly had lead guitar duties over the years and play to what I've been told is a very good standard ( always trying to improve! ) but would be happy to play more rhythm if that was required. Influences
Influences are vast from blues based bands on the late 60s to classic rock bands of the 70s. Started playing guitar listening to the likes of Eric Clapton, Hendrix and Jimmy Page and bands like Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy so probably feel more at home playing blues and classic rock but also enjoy many modern and current guitar based bands now.
