I am an experienced and mature (In my 50's) bassist who has been playing since age 14. I have good gear, Gibson SG bass, Fender Jazz, Trace Elliot backline and also can double up on rhythm guitar (Telecaster) plus a small amount of banjo (if you can stand the noise). I have my own transport. Solihull, Warwickshire, Birmingham are all ok for me.

Influences
I like all sorts of music, I'm a Beatles maniac, but love Radiohead, Kate Bush, Floyd, T.Rex etc but also like lots of modern stuff and right back to RatPack big band.
I am looking to join up with, or just jam with likeminded musicians, but I am NOT looking to play 'Alright Now' or 'Smoke on the Water' or similar (been there done that). But, I am up for most other things that may whet my interest.
