Took up playing at school and was with the Wingfield youth orchestra, being tought to be a percusionist. 4 years London school of music. Then bands, bjg time. Dud a fair amount of deping over the years with a balanced amount of session work mixed in with a little bit of touring.
Over the years the requierment to read has been small, so, although i do read my read/play abilety has reduced some what.

Influences
All top drummers to be fair from Gene Crooper, Buddie Rich, Terry Bozio, Steve Gadd etc. Never trying to emulate them but to use how they play, thier atack and interpritaion, style in some cases to try and use what i see or hear to constantly keep my playing fresh and solid.

9 piece custom remo hoop mounted with 22x22 bass drum.5 piece pearl export, cingas, bongos, wind chimes ans a selection of hand percusion. Yamaha 9000 brass picalo snare, with 2 other snares of differant sizes. Selection of piaist symbal ans the same in zyldgen. Moniter.
