I am a mature musician who has played in a large number of bands and ensembles across a fairly wide spectrum of music. My main instrument is 5 string Electric bass in both fretted and fretless formats . I have, played in both original and covers bands. I currently play bass in an established Soul Band. I also play Keyboards, Guitar and at times Drums in my home studio. I have recorded in many professional studios. I enjoy collaborating in writing music. I have a reasonable grasp of music theory and pride myself on having a good musical ear.

Influences
My early influences were 70's progressive rock. In the 80's I was also influenced by jazz fusion music, as this was the best route to developing my bass playing skills. My current influences are broadly Soul based.
