Back in the 90s and 00s I recorded and played live with bands and DJs in the UK and abroad.
I've spent the last few years mainly involved in teaching, have been playing in different samba groups, been to jams here and there and done the odd dep.
Now I'm looking to join/form a band playing afrobeat, funk or latin
- or a combination - with people who have energy and passion for the music - but a relaxed attitude is also important.
I'm also really into the idea of a smaller band with upright bass and keys/guitar (maybe with vocals and/or kit?) to do something that in my head sounds like Ernest Ranglin's Below the Bassline/Susana Baca.
