I’m the drummer in an established Liverpool-based rock covers band. We’re looking to recruit a new lead vocalist.
We play mainly in the north-west but happy to travel a bit further for function gigs. We have gigs booked for this year and look to play live about two or three times a month. We’re all experienced musicians, mainly in our middle years (40s/early 50s - except the lead guitarist who's the baby of the group at 28) with kids and families, in it for the fun and playing live, and we all have our own pro gear and transport.
We only rehearse when necessary, e.g. to get new songs in the set, and we’re looking for someone who is easy-going, reliable, can honour rehearsal and gig commitments, and can carry the frontperson role, even when the audience is a tough one!
