Influences
Too many to list, but for this venture, think on the jazz side: Getz/Gilberto, Corduroy, maybe Horace Silver? Also Tokyo Groove (Jyoshi). On the rock side: Rainbow, Deep Purple, The Cult etc.
Feel and groove much more important than technical ability.
Members Of Band
I primarilly play bass, and we have a guitarist, but would love to meet a drummer first to establish a foundation before inviting a second guitarist and/or vocalist.
EQUIPMENT
I have a few Fender basses and an Ampeg SVT 8x10 bass rig but also a 100 watt Orange bass combo for practice. I also have a PA and mics and also recording equipment. I have my own transport (large estate car).
