Pianist/keyboardist looking for an interesting band or project to get involved in. I have experience of recording and touring with London-based band Scarlet’s Well, but since then life and work have led me off on a tangent. Now I have space in my life again I’d like to get back into the music thing.
I do occasionally write complete songs but in the main I'm better at the instrumentation side of things. I'm classically trained so can write music and would love to work with 'non-rock' instruments such as strings, brass etc. I love bands that have a big baroque pop sound (see influences), although I could be pulled in a number of different musical directions, the main criteria is that it's quirky and different.
I’m probably not your girl if you’re looking for lots of bleepy synth noises, but I do do a good Hammond organ style as well as piano sounds.
Would be great to work with other female musicians if there are any out there. I’d also be open to short term collaborations or being a part-time band member if that’s what works. Definitely not interested in covers or function bands.
