Played in bands a lot growing up, always as a lead guitarist. Quit playing about 7 years ago but picked it up again last year and looking to get back into jamming. My main influences are prog metal/rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Dream Theater and Nightwish. However, I also love more acoustic driven and slower music such as Daughter, City and Colour and Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree). This is the sort of music I'd love to focus on. Experimenting with creating soundscapes (volume pedals, delay loops etc.) to enhance a backdrop for a vocalist.
