SATRANG is a South African and British Indian duo based in London. Starting life as 'Yaku', the band was originally named after Jaco Swart, a gifted musician and friend who died by suicide aged twenty. The mispronunciation of his name led the duo to regroup as SATRANG. In their dark and dreamy soundscapes the voice of Jaco (pronounced Yaaku) lives on.
