Been playing on and off for a long time. Mostly just play for fun now but was in a band in sixth form and played for A level music and played to a grade 7 standard at my best. I don't think it would take too much to get back to here.
I feel like playing with other people massively improved my playing very quickly and gave me something to work towards. Have played a couple of gigs but have a lot of performance experience from musical theatre (just not of playing guitar in said musical theatre haha)

Influences
My influences feature quite a wide variety from classic rock in the 70s and 80s like Dire Straits and Pink Floyd, some theatrical rock like Meatloaf, some Fleetwood Mac and Queen among others. This ranges to some alternative in the 90s-00s and love Paramore and Green Day. My favourite band that is actually within my lifetime is Arctic Monkeys. Recently I have started to take a bit more of an interest in blues and am constantly trawling spotify to find new music to listen to and learn.
