Love music and love playing but kids and career made it a home pursuit and now, with the kids waving adios, would really like to meet some like minded musicians, still interested in original music, still with a love of music, jam around with an aim to get out into bars and clubs and play live
I practice about 7 - 10 hours a week, playing guitar and singing so while I have some rough edges to get rid of live - the core is pretty solid. Really hoping to meet one maybe two musicians local enough to allow for regular practice. I write and arrange songs - they are there if needed but just as happy to jam and write fresh stuff as well as working on some tasty covers

Influences
too many to list, right now listen to John Mayer, think he is a very balanced writer and musician, growing up was Led Zep and Floyd, then Peter Gabriel, the Beatles - Van Morrison (just before during and after Moondance) Miles Davis, still love Robben Ford, enjoy listening to crooners and big bands, Del Amitri - it's a broad church in my apple playlists

EQUIPMENT
honestly, lockdown was tough - I have it all - about 20 good guitars (electric and acoustic), amp wise I went down the Kemper route and love it - got good recording kit, 400 watt PA, good collection of pro-mics, and willing to invest in more
