Having played for a few years as part of a Cardiff based young acoustic/ folky set up that recently dispanded (due to all members apart from myself moving to various corners of the U.K) I would love to have the chance to play with other musicians again. I play flute, but more interestingly also whistles (from high pitchted tin whistle to haunting low Irish). Am also perfectly capable of adding in reliable vocals. My instruments and voice are ideally suited to more folky/ acoustic stuff, but I have also played everything from jazz funk to flamenco and classical in the past and have a fairly eclectic taste in music (as long as its good!). The group I was previously with played gigs in various live venues in Cardiff, including the Wales Millenium centre foyer and often tried out stuff at local open mic sessions. We recorded an album in 2006 and played a live session on BBC radio Wales. I have also had experience playing and singing for recordings, both amature and in professional studios. I would love to hear from any groups/ individuals who would like to meet up for a jam and maybe more!
