Hi, my names Joe, Joey, Josephine, Shaggy, whatever you want to call me really. I'm a self taught guitarist with four years under my belt, and have never received any lessons other than one from my dad 4 years ago which was how to play a G. The rest was all figured out by ear, and i still liv by that rule. I have ben working on making a band, and have a drummer and a name, that is all, but i am actually looking to join a band. I play acoustic guitar and electric guitar, and play better at rhythm guitar when playing, but can play a bit of lead. I don't specialise in guitar solos, but can play simple scales, but i focus on the more rocky riffs in between. I sing with a unique voice, and have been told of the poignancy of my Sheffield accent, which makes me laugh a bit. I have been playing around Rotherham trying to build up a small fan-base, and I have been signed to play gigs at home games at the Rotherham Titans Rugby Club, and I've just been offered a two hour weekly slot at the Treeton Cricket club for some acoustic nights with a good friend of mine. Obviously this isn't the same feeling as playing a good gig with a good band, which is all I want to do. I do backing vocals and if necessary I will sing, but I'm not as confident at singing as i am at guitar, but I also write lyrics and songs. And I just love music, and when i get into it theres nowt really to stop me :) I can also play heavy metal guitar riffs and do extremely low screams if needed, but i'd rather play in a rock band, but a band is a band and I love all music other than Pop shiyte.
