I am a 37 year old female looking to join her first band/jam sessions. I have played acoustic nights/open mic nights with friends as a vocalist, but my experience with singing on stage is very limited.
I have, however, been cracking out a tune every time my friend and I have consumed alcohol, for the past 14 years! Which is partly what's pushed me to do something more serious with it, along with a change in confidence and priorities :).
Over the last 18 months I’ve learnt to drum and I’m a confident drummer who can blast out a brilliant flat four, fills etc etc!
