Influences

I was a child in the 70s and 80s so anything from that era is bound to have influenced me: Pop, Rock, Prog Rock, Electronic, Folk (trad and modern). I am also a listener to classical music and neo-classical music (film scores etc). I am also influenced by modern musicals from Phantom and Les Mis to Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen but also like the off beat; Little Shop of Horrors, SIX (wives of Henry VIII) and Book of Mormon. My music tends to be highly melodic, quite dynamic or thematic but I also write quieter, calmer music for more contemplative moods!
