I'm Clare and I'm a 26 year old vocalist. I haven't sung with a band in quite a while but really want
to get back into it. As much as I love cheesy rock and Adele, I'd like to give something else a go and set up a band with the hope of gigging one day and maybe doing some original stuff as well.

Influences
I love post punk/new wave and alternative rock and anything linked really and would love to try a few songs from the following artists: Joy Division, Stone Roses, Placebo, PJ Harvey, Smiths/Morrissey, Pixies, The Cure, Patti Smith, Nirvana etc etc. Not entirely sure how female vocals will sound with some of those but would be fun to give it a go and adapt them a bit. I love the Beatles and other "classics". Some folk, classic motown and soul. Happy to give most things a go.
EQUIPMENT
I would describe myself as amateur as it's been a while since I've done anything like this but will soon get back into the swing of things (hopefully!) I have always sung though, just not had much experience performing - which needs to change!
