Young seventeen year old female singer hoping to form a hard rock / metal band. I have been singing almost my whole life and have an NQ in music. At the moment in doing my HNC in music. Just looking for like minded musicians, my main goal is to make music my career and record albums etc. My main influences are Metallica. James Hetfield has inspired me a lot with his lyrics, vocals and rhythm guitar skills. Also Amy Lee (mainly for her vocals), Machine Head (lyrics). To make this clear I CAN NOT SCREAM! Just because I like writing heavy music doesn't mean there should be screaming and crazy guitars example BMTH! None of that metal wanted here, just making myself clear. I'm into the more basic stuff, doesn't have to be tech or fast to be heavy, well at least I dont think so. I want to write stuff that feels good and comfortable to play, If I dont feel it I won't sing / play it. Please don't be put off by the fact i'm a girl. I know what your thinking "girl wanting to do metal ha!" But like I said before, there doesn't have to be screaming to make it heavy. I have some lyrics and I will be recording some covers soon so feel free to ask for them. I stay in Crieff (16 miles from Perth) Looking for something localish but if I have to travel a bit I dont mind that much.
