ABOUT

Wishful Thinking are the most dynamic function/ covers band working in the Cotswold area. Our aim is to make music live and make it live.
We work as a seven piece multi instrumental/vocal band covering everything that is good and dancey and we "Do" fill the dance floor. Our target market is corporate bashes and high society weddings and parties. We are also happy to do charity functions at reduced rates and the occasional pub gig just for the fun of it if they can fit us in.

Paul: more keyboards than you can shake a stick at, banter, and vain attempts to keep every one under control.
Alan: Bass, vocals, grooving. nice hats.
Kate and Kelly Lead vocals, laser guided harmonies, tambourines and really great grooving.
Si: Lead vocals, guitars,percussion, harmonicas,really,really good shirts,a bit of chat,a bit of grooving and more nice shirts ( it's a style thing not a fetish) and nice hats.
Pete. axe man supreme who will turn up with any one of sixteen guitars and various back line combo's, it's always nice to be surprised on the night.
Joe "Mr Solid" on illuminated drums( who needs a light show)
Greg. fabulous sound guy with gear to die for who makes us sound even better than we already are.

Marcus. Sublime sound man. Cool,collected, smarter than a ferret on a bicycle. All round fab guy with all the right geek values that we all need to do what we need to do,if you see what I mean

EQUIPMENT

Guitars use Fender, Marshall and Genz Benz backline amps all Di'd through the desk. Three tier keybords Korg top, Yamaha mid and yamaha bottom ( They all do diffrent stuff so Paul tells me.) No idea what amp he uses.
Behringer DX32 or DX 32 compact digital desks with X32 digital snake.. Powered Alto tops and subs 6 Shure SM58 vocal mic's and full drum kit mic set up. five powered stage monitors plus various tambourines,cowbells etc should any under worked vocalist feel inclined to add to the groove.
