We are currently looking for a trumpet and/or keyboard player. Ideally we’d like some one who has experience of playing gigs and is able to be creative, contributing to developing new songs. We have gigs booked in and around the Sussex area and are looking to develop into more sunner festivals etc. If you think this might be you then please get in touch!
Skavana are a high energy Ska/Raggae/Ska-Punk/Northern Soul band with a Rock feel performing ska’d up covers of Nirvana and other pop/rock bands as well as a number of classics. We are committed to being as professional and creative as possible. and take a collaborative approach to selecting and arranging songs - and making sure the fun element of it is always there. we are playing regularly in pubs and venues and starting to get booked for festivals. Currently our set list consists of Bad Manners, Madness, Nirvana, The Specials, Billy Idol and Eilish, A-Ha,Nena amongst others. We have a definite rock feel to our interpretation of songs covered, but try to maintain the Ska/Reggae/Soul rhythm.
We rehearse every other week in Worthing West Sussex.
