New year, new band?

We are looking to recruit band members into a new adventure! In general, we would like to have fun playing an eclectic mix of classic songs in pubs and clubs, and eventually weddings and functions as we develop as a band. We will all have input on the decisions made, including, setlists and venues.

To date we have experienced drums and bass, forming a super solid back line and are looking to add the following:

Front person: you should be a charismatic male or female who loves to interact with the audience/fans! You’ll be of a good standard with experience of leading a setlist in a live setting, able to engage the listeners both within songs and in between songs.

Keyboard and BV/lead person: ideally, you’ll be able to ad-lib as well as accurately reproduce the keys parts of the songs we all choose. If you’re able and willing to not only sing backing vocals but lead several songs that would be fantastic.

Guitarist and BV/lead person: as our rhythm section, you’ll be able to ad-lib as well as accurately reproduce the rhythm and lead guitar parts of the songs we choose. Again, if you’re able and willing to not only sing backing vocals but lead several songs that would be fantastic.

We would like to maintain a good standard of musicianship on the journey as well as having as much fun as possible!

Our genre will include Rock, pop, reggae, funk and soul potentially from the 70’s to date, so the setlists will be a good mix of favourites.

We’re based in mid/south Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds & Sudbury, and would hope to play live once or twice per month with rehearsals each week/fortnight, depending on availability.
