Sohoko State is a UK based, alternative indie artist who mixes traditional rock/ pop instrumentation with the synthetic sounds of 80s electro pop.

This is all underpinned by a vocal that has been described as unique in the way it combines power and clarity.
All of this gives a back drop to songs that are made up of bold, catchy melodies and memorable choruses. Such melodies give space for reflective lyrics that combine explorations into the darker side of the human experience, whilst still maintaining a sense of hope and determination by looking at issues related to empowerment and transformation.”
