ABOUT

Squabble are a six piece band comprising Hammond organ, sax/trumpet, guitar, bass, drums and percussion. We play funky jazz groove instrumentals, influenced by the soul jazz greats of the 1960's and 70's, infused with infectious rhythms, hooks and melodies. We are based in and around West London and are all experienced musicians who have played together in previous bands for many years. We started Squabble in 2021 through our shared love of jazz, initially playing arrangements of tunes by Jack MacDuff, Herbie Hancock, Grant Green etc, gradually introducing original material as we progressed. We enjoy playing live and have so far played a variety of different venues and events, including most recently Jazz Train in Shoreditch (May 2024), alongside the acclaimed DJ Richio Suzuki.
